This course on Management Information can help!
The course content features a brief presentation on the MIU and its offerings followed by specialized workshops on the two main subjects: Organizational Monitoring and Market Intelligence.
Organizational Monitoring: the initiatives to benchmark and review the performance of AFS Organizations; typically Quality of Services, Financial Health, Growth, Quality Management and overall Organizational Health)
In this part of the course you will gain (or improve upon your already existing) understanding of the mechanisms at your disposal that can help you accurately assess the quality of services and the organizational health of your AFS Office. After establishing a common understanding of ‘Organizational Health’ and 'Quality Management', the workshop will focus on a functional run-through of the tools available in the Health Monitor.
Market Intelligence: knowledge and awareness of the external factors that may impact your Organization and the AFS Network at large such as market size, market trends, competitor activities, pricing, etc.
This part of the workshop examines the fundamental concepts and techniques applied in market intelligence and explains why having such awareness can be crucial for the success of your strategic decisions and investments.
