This course is an invitation to explore how AFS can use its full potential to increase its social impact, and become an even more relevant organization in helping create a more just and peaceful world. We will look into previous and current experiences on including changemaking as part of our core activities (such as the Ashoka partnership and the ACTIVE project by EFIL in cooperation with AFS International), and learn form them in order to design initiatives that can be adapted to local, regional and global realities.
This will be an engaging and hands-on workshop that will use lots of peer-to-peer learning and design thinking. Come prepared to think outside of the box! Anyone in the AFS Network is welcome to join, as we believe that the more diversity of perspectives and experiences we have in the group, the richer the results will be.
