Intercultural Learning (ICL) or "learning to live together" is at the heart of AFS's mission and programs. The What Every Person Should Know About Intercultural Learning™ training course combines the practical expertise developed by AFS over the past 68 years together with an introduction to key core academic theories on the subject to help you in your intercultural encounters -- whether at the workplace, in your community or across borders. This course has been adapted from the popular What Every AFSer Should Know About Intercultural Learning™ that over 4000 AFS volunteers and staff from around the world have participated in.
